Some thoughts and tips on ahappydeal.com
I have bought 2 things from ahappydeal.com. One costing 1.5$ the other costing 21 (plus shipping). This online merchant is similar to dealextreme.com however ahappydeal.com offers "free" shipping on limited items.
Ahappydeal though offers 6% discount with every purchase using an appropriate coupon code, which can easily be found online.
What is more, it offers some sort of point rewards with each dollar spend equaling a point. According to their description,
however there is an interesting thing going on with these points. And crunching a bit the numbers as seen at the following graph:
it seems that the best value for the points gained, is to spend them at 25DM increments. Hence it makes more sense to do lots of small purchases (including free shipping) rather than a big one to redeem more points.
So go out there and shop and redeem your points!
